Job Summary:
Accurate picking and packing, stocking shelves and storage bins, regular housecleaning and maintain a clean and safe work environment are all the duties of a warehouseman.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Picking and packing of products.
Receive incoming goods (local supply/FCL/LCL). Inspect, verify, count, tally with shipping document before storing at allocated location.
Loading and unloading from truck and container(import/export).
Prepare cargo for export shipment (courier service/FCL/LCL/local warehouse delivery.
Taking weight and dimension of cargo prepared.
Ensure work done is compliance with warehouse Standard operating procedure.
Take part in Biannual cycle count and perform cycle count on random product as needed.
To operate forklift and other warehouse equipment while adhering to all safety protocols and guideline in warehouse and storage area.
To carry out other ad-hoc tasks.
Report any inconsistency found from incoming shipments and no stock item upon picking for order.
Maintain cleanliness of storage area and ensure storage areas are secured.
Perform other related material handling functions.
Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:
Forklift license.
Basic computer skills.
Capacity to pick and pack orders and be in good physical shape.
Proficiency in reading and writing English.
Education/Certifications:
Secondary education.
Physical Working Environment:
The position requires exposure to the elements, need to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
The position requires the ability to manually lift and/or move boxes, jerry cans and drums, & cylinders weighing up to 100lbs.
Required to work over-time / weekend and public holiday.
