Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Executive, Educational Data & AI Technologist to drive data analytics and AI deployment in Medical Education and Assessment. This role involves implementing and managing cutting-edge data analytics solutions to enhance student learning outcomes and deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-driven tools in cloud environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional passionate about contributing to innovative projects and advancing their expertise in data and AI technologies.
Responsibilities
Data Analytics Implementation
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track and support student progress, as well as facilitate academic and administrative decision-making.
• Clean, analyze, and visualize data using tools like Power BI, Denodo or similar platforms.
• Design and implement predictive analytics models to identify trends and provide actionable insights for student success and program optimization.
• Monitor the performance of data and AI systems, troubleshooting issues and applying updates as needed.
• Maintain documentation of processes, models, and system configurations.
AI and LLM Integration
• Deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI technologies on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI models into university workflows, enhancing processes such as reporting, educational tool development, and research support.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and usability of AI-driven solutions, focusing on improving student outcomes and operational efficiency.
Cloud Platform Operations
• Manage and optimize cloud-based environments for data and AI deployments.
• Ensure the performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of cloud services.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in cloud services and AI technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, with familiarity in data analytics libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, managing databases, and developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows.
• Basic knowledge of deploying AI/ML models, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with cloud-native AI/ML services, such as Azure OpenAI and Claude.
• Ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights.
• Eagerness to learn and experiment with new AI and data analytics tools.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
This is a 3 years contract appointment.
