Prepare and cook meals (i.e. lunch, tea and dinner) according to planned menu and / or specific diets of the residents whenever required
Ensure ingredients for meals are properly cooked and kept in a most hygienic condition
Ensure quantity for every meal is sufficient for the residents and the staff to prevent wastage
Responsible for washing of cutlery/utensils after every meal
Ensure cleanliness at food preparation area, stove, kitchen floor, utensils, cooking equipment etc.
Maintenance of refrigerator in the most hygienic condition (wash, clean and clear expired/rotten food)
Perform stock take (count and record cooking ingredients / items taken out from store)
Responsible for the ordering of all raw ingredients/dry goods/provisions/ for cooking weekly (including daily vegetables and meats)
Person in charge for the keys to the store, refrigerator and dry goods cupboard
Requirements
Primary/Secondary School/GCE 'N' or 'O' Level, Professional Certificate/NITEC
Minimum 1 year working experience
Possess a current basic food hygiene certificate would be an advantage.
Motivated with positive attitude to learn
Cooperative and helpful with other team members
Able to work shifts, weekends, eve of public holidays and public holidays
