As a Co-Interior Designer, you’ll play a dynamic role bridging client communication, project coordination, and design execution. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth, with mentorship from experienced designers and exposure to real-world projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Client Communication & Coordination:
- Serve as the first point of contact for new leads by arranging appointments and sharing essential project details (e.g., floor plans, mood boards).
- Manage project communication channels and coordinate updates effectively.
- Maintain professional boundaries with clients — we’ll support you in managing expectations.
Design & Project Support:
- Assist in carpentry discussions with clients, documenting key notes during meetings.
- Handle electrical drafting based on provided plans — no on-site presence required.
- Prepare floor plans, updated quotations, and VR view screenshots for client discussions.
- Manage tile and raw material deliveries based on subcontractor requirements.
Project Administration:
- Process hacking applications and liaise with clients for required details.
- Share project schedules with owners and remind subcontractors about key tasks.
- Organize invoices and documentation, ensuring accurate P&L reporting.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum O-Level qualification or Diploma in a related field.
- Previous experience in residential or hospitality design is a plus.
- Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow with the team.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
- Ideally able to commit for 1 year
