Analyst, Investment Strategy

Founded in 2006, Sun Venture is a long-term investor with a methodical and disciplined investment approach. At Sun Venture, we invest globally and across different asset classes such as public equities, fixed income, private markets funds, real estate, private equity and alternatives.

As part of Sun Venture's Investment Strategy team, the Analyst will assist in the development and implementation of the investment programme for Sun Venture, with a focus on Hedge Funds.

You will be responsible for assisting the team in conducting research of fund managers and financial markets through a rigorous due diligence process and regular monitoring of investments:

• Assist in third-party fund manager research and the preparation of investment reports, encompassing both qualitative and quantitative research, with a focus on Hedge Funds.
• Research and assist in the market mapping of fund managers and collate relevant data for future investments.
• Due diligence updates for existing and potential investments, including updating performance tables and analytics.
• Assist in the preparation of monitoring reports.
• Maintain the firm's proprietary performance analytics models.
• Assist in gathering relevant commentary and data from both offline sources (fund manager inputs) and online sources (official statistics) for top down and bottom up analysis for Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA).
• Assist in other ad-hoc projects and tasks related to the investment programme.

• Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent. Candidates with CFA qualification will have an advantage.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant investment experience in Hedge Fund analysis.
• Passion for investment management, with knowledge or experience in portfolio management technicalities.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and thorough.
