Location: East
Duration: 12 months contract
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 830am to 530pm
Salary: Up to $3000 per month
Job Description:
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
Provide helpdesk support or desk side support to employees
Troubleshoot system and network problems to diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
Coordinate with external vendors to replace computer parts as and when required
Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
Support the roll-out of new applications
Set up new users’ accounts and profiles which include dealing with password issues
Respond within agreed time limits to attend to queries from employees
Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to 3rd parties, if appropriate)
Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
Assist in evaluation of notebooks/PCs/tablets/PDAs and etc
Assist in Backup Management
Coordinate the layout of network and telephone cables
Help in IT-related operations upon instruction from superior
Any ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor/manager
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent with 2 years of work experience as IT support
Able to work well in a team and perform efficiently
Able to carry out allocated duties accurately without supervision
