Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: 6 Tampines Street 92 Singapore 528893
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the lead teachers to support classroom activities and lesson preparations.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require extra attention or assistance.
- Supervise students during breaks and extracurricular activities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Aid in managing classroom materials, resources, and equipment.
- Offer constructive feedback to students and assist in their progress tracking.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
- Assist Masterclass teachers with various tasks
- Help students adjust, learn and socialise during lessons
- Hands on supervision to help students to stay focus and complete tasks
- Set up necessary material for classes (e.g. TV, laptops)
- Review lesson material to be taught in class and guiding preschool student with learning challenges
- Disinfection after class / simple cleaning maintenance after all lessons end.
- Make sure classrooms are safe and tidy before class starts
- Responsible, cheerful and energetic
- Great classroom management skills in handling primary and secondary students
- Must be able to work on weekends
- Preferably with some working/teaching experience in similar field/role
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for education and a desire to work with students of all ages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a teaching or childcare environment is an advantage.
- Minimum educational requirement: GCE O Levels or any relevant educational qualifications
