Facilities Technician

We are looking for driven and dynamic FACILITIES ENGINEER for our company in Singapore. To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following:

Responsibilities

· Responsible for the management of facilities, mechanical and electrical services

· Ensure all facilities and equipment are running smooth, includes ACMV Systems, Compressed Air Systems and Lightings

· Review risk assessment submitted by contractor prior to commencement of work

· Conduct regular inspection with contractors (cleaning, landscape, pest control, and fire protection system) to ensure that the services are carried out and maintained to the standard set by the Management

· Coordinate and execute, when necessary, inspection, testing, general maintenance and repair of the facilities equipment. Ensure that all equipment and other facilities are working properly

· Perform corrective and breakdown maintenance for all facilities related equipment

· Negotiations with regulatory agencies and obtain all necessary permits and licenses

· Preparing of contractor tender/quotations for facilities work or ad-hoc minor project works

· Adhere to company’s safety policy and standard operating procedure

Administrative Role

· Maintain checklist on the maintenance works for record and filing purposes

· Maintain record and report of all inventory, checklists, service reports for facilities-related equipment

· Update documents and maintain records in accordance to audit requirement

· Set-up, establish and enhance maintenance system

Job Requirements

· NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Facilities or equivalent.

· Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience

· Desired knowledge: (1) Compressed Air Systems (2) Plumbing (3) ACMV Systems or other plant facilities equipment maintenance & (4) Operating knowledge in a manufacturing environment

· Preferably has experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

· Able to work beyond working hours or weekend if required

· 24/7 standby for any M&E related emergency call up (Singaporean Preferred)

• Expected salary: $2,400 - $3,400 per month
