Duties
• Process the applications, which include assessing the layout plans of premises and imposing suitable food safety requirements
• Conduct pre-licensing verifications of the premises to ensure compliance with SFA’s food safety requirements
• Attending to public enquiries on licensing-related matters
• Streamline licensing processes to improve efficiency and productivity
• Plan and implement revised/new licensing regime/initiatives
• Represent the Department in inter-agency committee/work groups
Requirements
• Degree in Food Science preferred
• Knowledge in HACCP or Food Safety Management System will have an added advantage
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Meticulous and able to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel
