We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable H2 and IB Math or Physics Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, interactive lessons to students preparing for H2 and IB Math or Physics exams. This Full time / Part-time position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about Math or Physics and enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Math or Physics lessons tailored to the H2 and IB syllabus.
- Prepare lesson materials, including handouts, practice questions, and other resources to support students' learning.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in the H2 and IB Math or Physics syllabus to ensure the content is relevant and accurate.
- Assess students' understanding and progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Develop and implement strategies to help students understand complex Math or Physics concepts and apply them effectively in exams.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to help students build confidence in their Math or Physics skills.
- Communicate regularly with students and, if applicable, their parents to provide updates on progress and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:Previous tutoring or teaching experience in H2 or IB Math or Physics is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of the H2 and IB Math or Physics curriculum.
- Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex Math or Physics concepts in a clear and concise manner.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.Patience and adaptability to cater to different learning styles and needs.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week
