Job Opening: Windows 11 Upgrade Technician
Working Period: January – April/June 2025
Salary: Up to $2,500
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: Island-wide - Train Depots and Bus Interchanges
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform on-site installations, configurations, and upgrades of Windows 11 on client machines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Windows 11 upgrade process.
Ensure all systems meet company policies and security standards.
Provide technical support and training to end-users on new Windows 11 features and functionalities.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement upgrade strategies and schedules.
Maintain accurate documentation for upgrade processes, configurations, and support activities.
Monitor and report on project progress, addressing delays or issues promptly.
Assist with testing and validating applications and hardware compatibility with Windows 11.
Requirements:
Minimum of A Level or equivalent.
Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, with the ability to train and support end-users.
Prior experience with Windows operating systems is a plus.
