Who We Need
The Cardiac Technician is responsible for providing physiomonitoring and EPS support for interventional and cardiac angiography.
Your key responsibilities are:
Helps in the transport and transfer of patients to the procedure room.
Helps in changing and preparing patients for procedures.
Provides physiomonitoring support for coronary angiography, angioplasty and other interventional radiological procedures.
Able to perform EPS studies with the cardiologists.
Assists in post catheterization care of the patient.
Assists in code blue procedures in the cardiovascular laboratory.
Performs ECG and Newborn Hearing screening and other non-radiation procedures in the DID/CVL.
Assist in the admin duties within CVL and Diagnostic Imaging departments.
Helps in coordinating the workflow and processes in the department and assists in patient care.
Provides on-call coverage for emergency CVL procedures.
Participate in departmental activities such as quality assurance and performance appraisal.
Attends and contributes to departmental meetings.
How to Succeed
Possess minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels qualification.
At least 2 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital.
Experience in Haemodynamics monitoring in invasive laboratory.
42 hours per week, 5.5-day work week, Saturday half day.
Able to cover emergency call duties.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
