Overview of Role
Reporting to the Portfolio/Investment Manager, this individual will be part of a team that supports the Business Development and Portfolio/Investment teams.
Main Responsibilities
- To support the Business Development and Portfolio/Investment teams in originating, evaluating and executing investments / M&A opportunities, asset management and strategic projects for the group in all aspect of its day-to-day activity, including:
- Support in drafting of internal & external materials (internal memos, RFPs, teasers, IMs, etc.)
- Support with research and data analysis
- Support in portfolio monitoring / reporting
- Support in financial modelling / analysis (business plans, valuation analysis, etc.)
- Support on day-to-day admin (costs tracking, KYC, project status, coordination)
Profile
The individual should have the following qualifications:
- Experience in M&A, Strategic Consulting, Corporate Finance, Big Four, Private Equity is a plus
- Preference for current students pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Engineering
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools
- Knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions) and strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize for optimal results
- Motivated, dependable, and proactive; a team player with a positive, curious, and entrepreneurial mindset and a strong work ethic
