The Job
Aerospace Welders are the foundation of our repair shop. Their primary responsibility is to ensure a high-quality weld of different alloy metal components together with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG). This job requires a keen eye for detail, strong commitment, as well as the ability to adhere to all safety regulations.
What You Can Expect of the Job
You’ll weld different alloy metal components together with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) - process equipment to repair aircraft.
You’ll apply SOP in checking and assembling tasks.
You’ll operate machines for assembling tasks and perform cutting and grinding.
You’ll operate robotic welding cells.
You’ll backup and assist repair development of new and existing capabilities.
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Repair Shop Manager
What We Expect of You
Minimum ‘O’ / ‘N’ level or equivalent.
At least 3 years of related working experience and minimum 1 year with GTAW welding process experience.
Possess relevant welding certification standard for fusion welding for Aerospace.
Candidate with Civil Aviation Aircraft Welding Approval would be of advantage.
Possess good analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
Able to work independently with excellent multitasking abilities.
Willing to work overtime if the need arises.
