Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Chiller Plant (DCP) building and systems.
- Lead the operations team and plan rosters. Support shift operations as needed.
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of chiller plant equipment, heat exchangers, PLC BMS systems, and water recovery systems. Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions when required.
- Plan and execute electrical and HT/LT shutdown maintenance.
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX budget planning.
- Implement and execute A&A work, CAPEX improvement projects, and energy conservation initiatives.
- Identify, assess, propose, and implement areas for improvement to enhance operations and increase overall equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with the NEA Energy Conservation Act and manage the Energy Management System (EnMS).
- Ensure that chiller plant performance meets set targets.
- Track and renew licenses and permits in accordance with statutory board requirements.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and the Risk Register in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Support the testing and commissioning of new plant equipment and manage handover processes.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical work, including HT/LT shutdown maintenance.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and service quality management of chillers, pumps, cooling towers, ACMV systems, etc.
- At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in facility management.
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and possess strong writing skills.
