Role Summary:
Temus was established by Temasek in partnership with UST, to provide digital transformation solutions for the private and public sectors as we aspire to be a strategic partner in realising the Singapore Government’s Smart Nation vision. We are headquartered in Singapore and have more than 400 employees across a wide range of disciplines in strategy, design, architecture, technology, data & AI.
This role will be part of the Low Code Practice under Technology group within Temus, along with other practices like application transformation and modernization, enterprise architecture, value assurance and products & solutions.
We are looking for a passionate and talented senior software engineer to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to understand requirements well and develop software independently. You may also be required to provide guidance to software engineers in the same team.
Responsibilities
• Understand good architectural principles and be able to apply them
• Develop web and mobile applications following development best practices, ensuring solution performance and user adoption
• Finish all assigned tasks with quality within the defined timebox
• Conducts unit testing and integration testing, executes the necessary bug fixing
• Understand technology areas beyond application development to propose robust solutions (e.g. hardware, network, integrating to third party software)
Requirements
• Proficient in .NET or Java, and database modelling and SQL
• Proficient in front-end web technologies like JavaScript, CSS
• Willing to pick up new technologies quickly and independently
• Possess at least 3 years of related experience and a Diploma in IT, or a related field
