Weekend Permanent Relief English Teacher (Suitable for Undergrads)

Job scope:

• Permanent relief teacher, teaching english every weekend (either Sat or Sun). To be on standby for half a day (slots are Sat/Sun 8.30-12.30pm, 4.30-6.30pm) in case there are sick teachers. Will be paid for standby (you will be an Assistant teacher to other classes while on standby) and will be paid higher if relief teaching a class, in place of the main teacher.
• Deliver Primary school MOE curriculum, mainly for P1-P3 students (occasionally might have to relief upper primary).
• Curriculum and lesson plans are provided.

Requirements:
Snapshot of our Ideal Candidate:

• No foreign manpower quota available.
• Available to be be permanent relief teacher for 6 months. Will be paid $15/hour as Assistant teacher while on standby. If activated as relief teacher, will be paid $40/class (1.5h).
• Passionate about education, teaching, and working with children.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Preference for undergrads in Arts/ Social Science Degrees (eg English, Literature, History, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science), or relevant certifications. All undergrads are welcome to apply.
• Minimum O' Level English grade of B3.
• Willingness to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm (slots are Sat/Sun 8.30-12.30pm or 4.30-6.30pm). You may take more than one slot if you are available.
