Job Responsibilities
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes from your assigned station meet the restaurant's standards.
- Perform intricate and precise cooking techniques required for fine-dining cuisine.
- Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, flavor, and presentation.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure proper timing and coordination of dishes.
- Manage inventory for your station and communicate ingredient needs or shortages to the sous chef or head chef.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, keeping your station clean and organized.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related role.
- Preferably with experience in a professional kitchen, particularly in fine dining.
- Strong communication skills with a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- A team player who is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
