At SHM Shipcare (Singapore) Pte Ltd, we provide a one-stop solution for the marine industry in supplying products and services through a network spanning over 11 port cities along the Indian coast and across coasts of Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and UAE.

We are looking to hire an Office Admin Assistant in our Singapore office and shall be responsible for the following:

Desired Candidate Profile:

Candidate must have prior experience in handling Accounts and Inventory

Accounting

  • Verify and Manage all entries of sales, purchase and banking documents
  • Prepare monthly reports and submit to reporting manager on a monthly basis.
  • Provide monthly closure to accounts and submit to the Reporting Authority.
  • Provide assistance to internal teams if any on a daily basis

Inventory

  • Receive, distribute and maintain adequate quantities of stocks at all times
  • Maintain optimal stock levels
  • Review physical inventories periodically
  • Maintain stock and consumption records
  • Check incoming materials for quality, and quantity against invoices, purchase orders and packing slips or other documents
  • Make clear notes on the receipt of the items against each invoice.
  • Keeps and updates records of good received and issued.

General Duties

  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Responsible for cleanliness of the stor3
  • Execute any other jobs assigned by the management.

Competencies Preferred:

Import and Export Knowledge,

Knowledge of Office (Excel)

Knowledge of Inventory Management

Record Keeping

Basic Marine-Engineering Knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Office management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Marine: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • pass to work in Singapore (Required)
