Responsibilities

  • Translate documents and materials from English to Korean and vice versa, maintaining accuracy and tone.

  • Collaborate with the Program Development team to understand project requirements and target audiences.

  • Review and edit translations to ensure clarity, consistency, and cultural relevance.

  • Assist in localizing content for the Korean market, adapting messaging to fit cultural nuances.

  • Provide linguistic support during meetings and presentations as needed.

  • Conduct research to ensure correct terminology and understanding of subject matter in translations.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and language usage to keep translations relevant and effective.

    Requirements

  • Fluency in Korean and English, with excellent writing and speaking skills in both languages.

  • Proven experience in translation, particularly in technical or program development fields.

  • Strong understanding of cultural nuances and context in language translation.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality in all translations.

  • Familiarity with localization processes and tools is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
