Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting operations, including processing transactions, invoicing and maintaining accurate records for multiple F&B outlets.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring financial reports are prepared on time.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
Assist with preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss, and cash flow reports.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and industry regulations, supporting internal and external audits as required.
Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost-saving within the F&B business.
Conduct regular visits to F&B outlets for on-site audits, ensuring that financial practices are aligned with company standards and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and management, to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Handle payroll processing and ensure timely payments for staff, suppliers, and contractors.
Maintain accurate records of inventories, ensuring proper cost control and financial reporting.
Process supplier payments and manage accounts payable/receivable functions.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for various F&B projects and initiatives.
Prepare and maintain Accounts SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to streamline accounting processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
Key Requirements:
Min 2 years proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role within the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry.
Proficiency in Xero accounting software is a must.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations and tax compliance.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
