Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
Assist with prepping ingredients, such as chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes.
Station Management:
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation.
Ensure food is cooked and plated in a timely and efficient manner.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Quality and Safety:
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
Conduct regular checks to ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with other team members to meet service demands.
Assist in training new kitchen staff and support teammates during peak times.
Inventory and Cleanup:
Monitor supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
Participate in daily cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and facilities.
Requirements
Experience and Skills:
Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role (preferred but not required for entry-level applicants).
Strong understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with food safety practices and certifications (e.g., Food Handler’s Certificate is a plus).
Knowledge of recipe execution and portion control.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Culinary school training is a plus).
