Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop and deliver innovative cargo/ logistical solutions and services to create value for customers
- Conduct market, economic & stakeholder analysis to identify new specialised services business potential and suitable strategic partners
- Pursue new business opportunities jointly with Regions to grow the customer base and expand specialised services business
- Analyze current logistics processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement optimized solutions
- Conduct detailed analysis on understanding customers’ needs, validation of the hypothesis / co-dependency on the synergies so as to develop strategic solutions to optimize the supply chains and purpose fit
- Develop collaborative relationships with leaders of different functions to enhance the solution designs processes, commercial viability and implementation of these synergies
- Develop, maintain and update the business strategy and financial status to senior management and board
- Program manage and liaise with respective operations team for support on Business Development (BD) during sales to operationalize the processes and translate into BAU ops
- Establish and manage long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners
- Any other duties as assigned by Global Head, New Product Development
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/ Business/ Engineering (or equivalent)
- At least 10 years of working experience in logistics, supply chain management or 3PL operations
- Possess a global perspective mindset to evolve with the organisation
- Proven track record to effectively partner/ influence/ lead to achieve business results
- Strong understanding of third-party logistics and the supply chain ecosystem
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve problems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of global logistics regulations and compliance standards
