DESIGNATION : Senior Social Worker
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Social Worker works in the field of social work. He/She is qualified and trained to assist in managing interventions and programmes, performing community development work and uplifting the professional practice in social work. He/She guides multi-disciplinary teams to implement and evaluate casework and group work and also organises strategic community development initiatives, programmes and research. He/She serves as a mentor to social workers and supports their professional development. He/She collaborates with other agencies and ministries in the course of his work.
- Manage cases and supervise a team of workers to ensure smooth delivery of services in accordance to guidelines
- Continuously review the best practices put in place and enhance according to needs of clients and workers
- Provide internal training to practitioners, where necessary
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support objectives of the organisation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Early Childhood, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Counselling or equivalent
OTHER INFORMATION
Relevant Experience
- At least 4-6 years of experience in the early childhood development or social service sector (including supervisory experience)
