Job Descriptions: -
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen for efficient operations.
- Plan and assign daily workloads to team members.
- Plan team members’ work schedules and compile timesheet.
- To ensure kitchen is supervised and managed efficiently and effectively to ensure total accountability for their productivity and efficiency.
- To do ordering and menu planning.
- Ensure that all the staff are well trained.
- To assist in any of the kitchens, this may require assistance within or outside normal working hours.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Handle food preparation and ensure desired quality and standards are achieved.
- Ensure that policies and standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Guide and monitor work performance of all kitchen staff.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of food, hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen.
- Analyze and resolve problems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Oversee purchasing to stay within budget and on a healthy range.
- Minimize food wastage.
- Able to perform additional duties as requested by the Management as and when required.
Job Requirements: -
- Experience in Brunch style cooking and western cuisine is preferred.
- Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
- Formal culinary training in food preparation and culinary management is a plus.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience as in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Singaporean / PR / EP (degree holder)
