Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of complex systems with flawless execution.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to determine project requirements and successfully implement solutions.
  • Drive technological innovation by developing and testing new systems and components.
  • Ensure all designs meet outstanding quality standards and align with industry regulations.
  • Coordinate project timelines and deliverables, ensuring ambitious goals are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record with at least 10 years of experience in systems design engineering.
  • Demonstrated architecture skills with models, views, and tools.
  • Experience as an architect for multiple (multi-site) teams.
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Experience with software development and instrument design.
  • Knowledge of value stream mapping and reducing cross-team dependencies.
  • Strong analytical skills to fix and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing projects and guiding team efforts.
  • Relevant professional certifications in systems design or engineering.
