EY Consulting is a fast-moving, high-growth area with huge potential. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager / Manager to join our team. This team offers variety, challenge, responsibility and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential. Being a member of our Consulting team means you will specialize in a particular competency - Risk, Technology Consulting, or IT Risk & Assurance. Our Technology Consulting team is focused on helping clients improve operational efficiency and security, while also reducing costs and managing risk.
We help clients by delivering assessment, transformation and process efficiency solutions in specialty areas like finance, supply chain, IT Advisory, customer, people and organization change, strategic direction, and program management. To address the shifting landscape of our clients' needs, EY has established a national Center of Excellence focusing in the broad topics of Enterprise Intelligence, Risk Transformation, IT Risk, and Enabling Technologies. Enabling Technologies primarily focuses on the design and optimization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) packages like SAP, Oracle, and others. Our team typically works with Fortune 1000 clients across a variety of industries including, Manufacturing, Pharma, Energy/Utilities, Transportation, Telecommunications, Entertainment/Media, Oil/Gas and Consumer Goods/Retail.
Your key responsibilities
The SAP EWM/Logistics Execution Consultant Manager will lead consulting engagements with clients to optimize their logistics and warehouse management processes using SAP EWM. This role requires a combination of deep expertise in SAP EWM module configuration, a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management, and the ability to manage and deliver complex consulting projects.
People Management: Effectively lead the team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
Project Management: Participate in large scale SAP client engagements. Consistently deliver quality client services, driving high-quality work products within the expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Should be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be comfortable interfacing with a client on a daily basis. This role requires daily interaction with the client at many levels.
Skills and attributes for success
Manage and deliver SAP EWM consulting services to clients, including system implementation, process optimization, and strategic advisory.
Lead a team of SAP EWM consultants, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Act as a subject matter expert in SAP EWM, providing insights and recommendations to clients on best practices and industry trends.
Develop proposals and solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and supply chain strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EWM with other SAP modules and third-party systems for comprehensive solutions.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to clients on SAP EWM functionalities and updates.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction.
Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional consulting services and engagements.
Contribute to thought leadership in the field of warehouse management and logistics execution through whitepapers, blogs, and speaking engagements.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations in all consulting activities.
At least 1 time implementing RFID scanning device interfacing with SAP
To qualify for the role you must have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics, with at least 5 years of SAP EWM consulting experience.
Demonstrated success in leading SAP EWM implementation and optimization projects.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing consulting teams and client relationships.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all organizational levels.
SAP EWM certification and additional certifications in supply chain or project management are highly desirable.
