Job Overview: Participate & support in the design and execution of the APD Marketing functions across Southeast Asia and Pacific.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain close market knowledge through weekly & monthly VM & Marketing reports/meetings. Heavy focus on Retail Marketing (Where we trade). Tasks include visual merchandising excellence & execution, seasonal product launch initiatives and store design.
- Provide guidance and influence the distributors with Global/Regional marketing materials and find the balance for local needs. Areas include PR, Brand Comm and Digital Platforms (Socials IG/Tiktok/e-Com).
- Culture Marketing. Influence and lead the distributors on marketing planning and execution through the lens of Skate, Music & Creative Arts.
- Work closely with internal function teams (APAC Marketing, Product and APD Sales Team) to achieve commercial commitments. Eg. Product Sell-thru, Seasonal Sell-in Target.
- Day to Day marketing administration – aid in processes, managing databases and filing systems
You will be/have:
- Experienced or interested in retail marketing, visual merchandising, distribution and store design (this will be a key function in the role to support our distributors’ retail marketing needs)
- Has understanding/experience of digital and social media marketing Keen eye and good sense for design and appreciation for it. Fashion, Street Culture, Skateboarding is a bonus Brand & culture fit with Vans (Skate, Music & Creative Arts)
- Understanding and experience outside of Singapore in SEA is a bonus
- Ability to speak and converse well with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Agile and ability to adapt to changing business needs
- 1-2 years work experience from e-Commerce, marketing agency or brand background or/and an undergraduate degree in marketing or a related field from a university or other recognized academic institution
