Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and efficient Dishwasher / Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to a safe, hygienic, and well-organized environment. You will also assist with general cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the premises.
Key Responsibilities:
Dishwashing: Operate industrial dishwashing machines to clean plates, cutlery, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
Handwashing: Manually wash delicate or irregular items as needed.
Cleaning & Sanitizing: Ensure all kitchen surfaces, floors and equipment are regularly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
Waste Management: Dispose of kitchen waste, recyclables, and trash in accordance with company policies
Restocking: Assist in restocking clean dishes, utensils and kitchen supplies.
Kitchen Organization: Help maintain an organized and efficient work area by ensuring dishes, utensils, and cleaning materials are neatly stored.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to food safety and health regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all staff and customers.
Additional Duties: Perform any other cleaning or kitchen duties as assigned by the store manager.
Requirements:
Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
A good understanding of cleaning products and equipment.
Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
