We are in search of a talented Western Cuisine Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Western cuisine, with expertise in preparing a variety of dishes ranging from classic comfort foods to gourmet specialties. The Western Cuisine Cook will be responsible for ensuring that all menu items are prepared to perfection, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and contributing innovative ideas to enhance our menu offerings.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a diverse range of Western dishes, entrees, and main course.
Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality in every dish.
Work closely with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
Always adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff members.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a cook specializing in Western cuisine, with a minimum of 3 years in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of Western cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Certification in food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
