Job Description:
- Maintain effective communications with relevant personnel at all levels.
- Identify and delegate responsibilities to staff to ensure objectives are met through excellent service.
- To ensure utilization of resources to maximize performance in outlets.
- Handle guest and staff complaints in a courteous and effective manner
- Responsible for performance management system in the outlet
- Responsible for advising staff on monthly departmental targets.
- Maintain and update SOPs.
- Oversee the overall operational activities of the outlet.
- Handle guest and staff complaints in a courteous and effective manner
- Exceed standards in safety and cleanliness through management of restaurant.
- Manage Food & Beverage operations while promoting company’s culture and value. *
- Lead, train and develop staff in outlet to maximise performance.
- Ensure that service team adheres and comply to company’s policies and procedures.
- Manage administrational duties such as keeping track of absenteeism and medical leaves of staff (in PAYBOY).
- Reviewing operational challenges to identify issues obstructing performance.
- Monitor and maintain the operating systems of the outlet.
- To maintain a sound knowledge of the menu and presentation standards for food and drinks.
- Monitor budget to control expenses in the outlet.
- Ensuring that the handover, closing and opening procedures are completed in each shift.
- Provide cost reduction strategies to manage the outlet’s expenditure.
- To prepare and oversee duty rosters.
- Ensure that there is sufficient petty cash in the outlet.
- Ensure all operational activities adhere to relevant legislations, health and safety regulations and licencing
- Carry out any other duties as per Area Manager (F&B) / Director (Singapore), F&B
- Managing ERP related tasks and responsibilities as required in the role.
Job Requirements:
- Interest in wine & service would be an added advantage
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage is required (Minimum 5 years)
- Able to use and manage outlet’s operating system
- Leadership skills
- Attention to detail and able to lead a team
- Able to execute, check / control procedure to detect inconsistencies in check handling and/or ordering
- Able to conduct inventories
- Able to give specific instructions and executed tasks as assigned
- Able to settle any guest transaction via Food & Beverage Operational System (POS)
