Help us get ahead of disease together with our Global Supply Chain (Medicines) Business Area / Procurement Internship, 2025:
Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management or Commerce discipline
Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Internship period: July to December 2025

What will you do?
Support the development of the long and short-term plans to improve Procurement processes
Support the Implementation of Global Procurement processes, policies, and strategies locally and ensure compliance
Sourcing support for existing and new materials needed for New Product Introduction (NPI)
Contract Management (tracking and extensions)
Establish sourcing route and Lead negotiation for certain materials
Support in quality and compliance documentations
Spend analysis and presentations to the senior stakeholders
Creation of dashboard and analytics from the data available
De-risking of supply base with the guidance from teammates
What will you learn?
Overview of Procurement support to the manufacturing processes
Procurement’s role as a partner for value delivery and savings generation
Spend analysis and prioritization
Use of Procurement tools, software – SAP Ariba, reverse Auctions etc.
What are we looking for?
A lively interest in supply chain, commercial world and the biopharma industry
Appetite to work as a business partner, building strong relationships with key stakeholders
Adaptability to change and working under pressure
Excellent communication skills that help you influence
Strong problem-solving skills driven by curiosity
Drive and confidence to trust your own judgment
Good Ability to use Microsoft 365 (ex MS Office), mainly Excel and Powerpoint
Dashboard creation knowledge will be an added advantage
Great project management skills and the ability to prioritise
