Who We Need
Your key responsibilities are:
Assist in admissions, provide orientation on room and ward facilities.
Porter duties such as transfer of patients from one location to another.
Assist patient with showering when required.
Perform bathing and umbilical care for neonates.
Take meal orders, serve meals and drinks, assist with feeding, prepare milk formula for pediatric patients.
Prepare and assist with feeding newborns in the nursery.
Assist postnatal mothers with breastfeeding.
Assists with using and managing bedpans, urinals, commodes, vomit bowls, measures and empties catheter bags and removes urinary catheters.
Assists with positioning, transferring and mobilising the patient.
Assist with emergency procedures as directed by the trained nurse e.g. Code Blue, Code Red and Code Green.
In charge of the overall environmental functions such as bed making, changing linen and general maintenance of all areas to keep clean and tidy.
How to Succeed
Possess at least GCE‘N’ Level.
Certificate in Health Care Assistant is highly preferred for this position.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in the healthcare industry.
To perform shift duties including weekends and public holidays.
