Aon Graduate Programme 2025 – Innovation & Analytics
In this two year programme, you will be exposed to all aspects of our business through four job rotations (6-month cycle) across different business areas, participate in Agile scrum-based projects. and have the opportunity to work with key stakeholders across the Aon business, gaining knowledge and insight into our world of data and analytics.
Graduates will be placed in the following various areas of the business and will have the opportunity to explore risk management and data analytics during the programme:
- Growth Analytics
- Reinsurance
- Retirement and Investment
- Health Solutions
- Affinity
- Data and Analytics
- Climate Risk Analytics
Data Analyst
What the day will look like
In the Data Analyst role, you will act as a champion for Aon’s suite of analytical tools and help business leaders drive performance by supporting the delivery of analytics solutions around client data.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 1 year work experience
- Able to commence full-time employment in July 20
- Ability to extract and transform data using SQL, Python, Pyspark or similar technologies
- Ability to identify key insights from the data based on in-depth analysis
- Ability to visualize the results by following Aon's design guidelines using PowerBI (or Tableau)
- Knowledge of statistical and advanced machine learning to model complex relationship is highly desirable
- Familiarity with GenAI and its applications is a plus
- Willing to pick-up adjacent skills to analytics to help move the product from concept to commercial data-driven products
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a team-player
- Ability to convey technical findings to non-technical audience in an engaging and easy way
- Ability to think deeply with regard to ethical consequences of their work
Data Engineer
What the day will look like
In the Data Engineer role, you will be a part of a high-performing team to make data accessible for our analytics teams. You will be building systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 1 year work experience
- Able to commence full-time employment in July 20
- Good knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Understanding of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks SQL, Amazon Redshift).
- Basic knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning techniques to optimize data pipelines and improve data processing efficiency.
- Exposure to deploying and managing AI models in an environment to support a project team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a team-player.
- Ability to convey technical findings to non-technical audience in an engaging and easy way.
- Ability to think deeply about ethical consequences of their work.
Application Developer
What the day will look like
In the Application Developer role, you will collaborate with the brightest minds in our innovation center to build high-performing applications that deliver insightful analytics to our users.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 1 year work experience
- Able to commence full-time employment in July 20
- You should be familiar with one or more of the following languages C#, JavaScript, Python. Knowledge in SQL, CSS, ReactJS, Angular would be advantageous.
- Strong data literacy skills with the ability to identify key insights from your analysis.
- Visual design focus to maximise user experience and impact.
- Ability to integrate AI models into web applications to enhance data analytics and user experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a team-player.
- Ability to convey technical findings to non-technical audience in an engaging and easy way.
- Ability to think deeply about ethical consequences of their work.
