Key Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions:
Process and record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements with company accounts to ensure accuracy.
Reconcile customer and supplier accounts periodically.
General Ledger Management:
Maintain and update the general ledger for accurate record-keeping.
Able to independently handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
Financial Reporting:
Preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Provide detailed financial data to assist management in decision-making.
Tax and Compliance:
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, GST, and other regulatory filings.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and report discrepancies.
Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: Diploma or relevant certifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
Key Competencies:
Able to handle full set of accounts.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with local tax laws and financial regulations.
Past experience in F&B setting preferred
