What will I be doing?
- Lead and manage web development projects from conception to implementation.
- Work closely with the design and development teams to create and refine website features.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Maintain high standards of web design and usability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to articulate ideas and solutions.
- Proactively identify and address gaps and areas for improvement in our websites.
What is required of me?
- Proven experience in website design and development:
- HTML/CSS: Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 for creating well-structured, responsive, and visually appealing websites.
- JavaScript: Strong knowledge of JavaScript, including experience with popular libraries and frameworks like React.js, Angular.js, or Vue.js, to develop interactive web elements.
- Responsive Design: Expertise in responsive design, utilizing frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation to ensure websites are mobile-friendly and adapt seamlessly across various screen sizes.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ability to ensure websites function correctly and consistently across different browsers and devices, providing a uniform user experience.
- Automated Testing: Familiarity with tools for automated testing (e.g., Selenium, Jest) to ensure the highest code quality and reliability.
- Figma: Experience in using Figma for collaborative design processes, enabling smooth handovers from design to development.
- Strong background in project management, with a track record of leading development teams.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forward-thinking with a keen eye for identifying areas needing enhancement.
- Candidates must have a local presence in the Philippines with a valid local ID.
