Responsibilities:

  • Provide warranty, service technical support, commissioning, troubleshooting and 3rd party breakdown repair to Authorised Dealers / End Users in compliance to the Product Manual.

  • Generate billable service hours by providing on-site technical assistance to conduct and oversee the rigging, troubleshooting and repairing of Manitowoc Crane products.

  • Train dealers representatives to commission the first new product model launched.

  • Train and certified dealers.

  • Communicate with Factory Personnel / In-house colleagues to resolve, find solutions and share experiences.

  • Analyzes reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design, production, service and maintenance processes and recommend modifications to eliminate future problems. Good knowledge and correct application of hand tools, electronic devices and computer. Must be able to read and interpret schematics drawings.

  • Assist Dealer/Customers in providing technical assistance by way of phone support.

  • Process analytical skill in investigating Crane Accident causes and to provide technical report.

  • Any other adhoc job assigned by management or immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

  • GED in Engineering or 2-year relevant experience.

  • Clear mind.

  • Mature and independent in handling matters.

  • Prepared to travel inland and overseas at short notices.

  • Can withstand hardship in tough conditions especially in an adverse weather, different cultures, facing demanding customers, etc.
