We are currently recruiting for experienced Senior Engineer – Mechanical / Environmental Sustainability to join our Building Services team in Singapore.
You will be joining our Centre of Excellence (CenEx) team, led by one of our Technical Director who was recently conferred the SGBC-BCA Professional Leadership in Sustainability Award.
Senior Engineer – Mechanical (ESD)
About You

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to:
- Leading mechanical services design and environmental sustainability design for building projects.
- Assume responsibility and undertake engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity.
- Carry out site condition assessment, feasibility studies, energy audits and technical due diligence.
- Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing.
- Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants.
- In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting.
- Communicate effectively with the client, sub-consultants, contractors, and other parties relevant to the job.
- Assist in assessment and review of designs prepared by others on behalf of the clients.
- Liaise with authorities on plans submission and compliance.
Pre-Requisites
- Degree in a Mechanical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant working experience in the design & supervision of building service projects and Fire Protection.
- Experience in leading roles for design & design management of residential, commercial, institutional or hotel projects will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.
- Understanding of energy efficient mechanical systems and equipment with Green Building design experience and knowledge of Green Mark/ LEED is an added advantage.
- Competent user of relevant engineering software and simulation tools.
- Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English.
- Able to work independently & exercise initiative.
- Excellent delegation and communication skills, which sees you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
