He/She reports through GL&D and supports site learning needs with responsibility for defining, developing, and facilitating all learning and development plans and activities for the GL&D Learning portfolio. They maintain awareness and understanding of key site priorities/processes and external best practices, partners with key site stakeholders to identify performance needs and gaps and will partner with their client to implement and ensure adherence to established governance and company standards. As needed, this role will also partner with the learning creation team in GL&D to ensure relevant learning solutions are fit for purpose. This leader will develop and maintain strong business relationships, build sponsorship, and collaborate as part of an integrated learning network. Success in this role depends on a candidate’s ability to collaborate with stakeholders by translating the goals of the site into learning strategies and solutions as determined by strong needs analysis. This position will then oversee the effective delivery of those solutions through a network of their peers.
Responsibilities:
- Establish relationships with clients to enable realization of Operating Unit and Site/Client strategy resulting in improved business outcomes and results.
- Implement learning strategy/plans for client ensuring adherence to standards, including implementation training programs. Monitors progress with appropriate documentation and metrics and defines opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Respond to inquiries from site/region on offerings in global catalogs to recommend appropriate learning interventions to drive impact on the business locally.
- Recommend learning solutions and effective learning strategies based on identified needs to realize site hoshin objectives. Align site leaders around “best-fit” learning strategies while collaborating within GL&D to leverage existing and/or develop new learning solutions to meet either core and common or unique site requirements.
- Work collaboratively with site learning teams to implement, maintain and continuously improve standard learning processes.
- Serve as steward for all global content standards to drive adherence/compliance which allows for current content, best-in-class design and an improved learner experience.
- Create line of site locally for Regional GL&D Learning Partners enabling them to drive capability alignment across the Marketing Division.
- Collaborate with HRBP’s at site to integrate learning solutions with other talent-related initiatives.
- Deliver training and/or support local SME’s providing training as needed.
- Measure and report impact of learning programs against set metrics. Use data insights to continuously improve solutions and outcomes.
- As needed, quality and coach colleagues or global/local subject matter experts who will deliver or facilitate while ensuring adherence to the global standard.
- Ensure accurate forecasts based on strong performance consulting and project risk management.
- If required, support multiple sites within a region by serving as a shared resource.

- Adult Learning: Theory and Practice: Experience in applying concepts and practices of adult learning to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
- Learning Needs Analysis: Experience in assessing competency gaps and identifying what people need to learn for successful individual and organizational performance.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required with 5 years of related experience (3+ years with Master’s degree)
- Minimum 1 year of experience facilitating / delivering learning solutions.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in the areas of learning, talent, HR, or comparable areas; experience in applicable technical/professional areas pertinent to the division / function served (e.g., R&D, manufacturing, sales/marketing, etc.)
