Job Purpose
The Settlement Analyst will be responsible for managing invoicing & settlements of physical, trading activities related to the trading desk.
Principal Accountabilities
• Trade validation in CTRM
• Reconciling of trades across systems
• Tracking of invoices, settlements, AP/AR reporting and be involved in systems testing.
• Handling physical Oil/LNG/Shipping trade settlements in a timely and accurate manner, including contract terms review, due date control and raising payment and invoices in both CTRM system and SAP
• Reviewing the trade contracts and service agreements for settlement purposes
• Price confirmation with counterparties and billing/invoicing of sales both provisional and final invoices
• Ensuring incoming & outgoing funds receipt or payment are valued on time, calculating interest for delayed receipts as per contractual terms and AR ageing follow-up
• Process secondary costs which includes additional cost such as freight, insurance, inspections, demurrage's
• Liaise with traders and operators to resolve disputes and ensure accurate and timely payments
• Carrying out with the procedure/process implemented in CTRM, SAP and other network system and assist in month-end reconciliation
