  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our client is a well known specialty chemical manufacturer. They are actively seeking for a Lab Analyst. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining compliance of laboratory activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical test in the laboratory of both internal and external samples
  • Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Daily calibration of analytical instrument tuning and performance monitoring
  • Perform maintenance and/or troubleshooting when necessary and keep track on parts and consumables
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all calibrations and maintenance
  • Data entry into system and ensure all test results and calculations are in order
  • Labelling of all chemicals for storage and disposal of chemicals in a safe and responsible manner

Requirements

  • Diploma in Chemistry or chemical-related discipline
  • Min 3 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry in analytical laboratory setting
  • Prior experience in ICPMS/OES preferred
  • Skilled in ISO/IEC 17025
  • Experience in writing SOP
  • Possess skills in method validation, GC-FID, IC techniques will be an added advantage
  • Willingness to perform 12 hours rotating shift
