Job description:
You will be part of the Facilities Management team that seeks to build a sustainable world class airport. Among the various initiatives, your immediate focus will be to work with airport partners to promote waste segregation and optimize waste handling processes. You will carry out enhancements to building amenities and infrastructure to better support waste reduction and recycling initiatives. Downstream, you will conduct feasibility study and work with solution providers to implement waste valorization and processing solutions. You will be required to work outside office hours or perform shift duty when called upon.
Requirements:
- Good Diploma/Degree in Environmental Sciences or Engineering or equivalent
- Good project management and communication skills, at ease interacting with stakeholders of various demographics
- Possesses an outgoing disposition and a can-do attitude
- Minimum 1 year experience in waste sortation, collection operations or in managing waste management services
- Familiar with Mandatory Waste Reporting. Certified Zero Waste Manager will be advantageous
- Passionate about the environment, conversant with the legislation and issues of circular economy
