You will play a key role in driving automation projects aimed at growing operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and improving production quality.
This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. You will work across teams to ensure that automation solutions align with business goals and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Design & Implementation: Lead the design, development, and deployment of digital and factory automation systems, including robotics, PLC programming, HMI systems, and SCADA.
Process Optimization: Identify areas of improvement within manufacturing workflows, proposing and implementing automation solutions that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and digitalize operations.
System Integration: Integration of automation systems with existing MES, ERP, and other digital platforms to enable real-time data exchange and seamless operation between digital and physical processes.
Project Management: Lead automation projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery, and performance outcomes. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to meet project goals.
Resolving & Continuous Improvement: Analyze and resolve technical issues within automation systems, implementing appropriate actions to maintain consistent and reliable performance. Continuously seek opportunities to improve system reliability and efficiency.
Data Analytics & Reporting: Collect and analyze data from automated processes to monitor system performance, identify trends, and provide insights for further optimization.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation of automation solutions, including system designs, operating procedures, and safety protocols. Ensure all systems align with relevant safety and quality standards.
Partner with IT, Operations, Quality, and Maintenance: Understand requirements and align automation with business needs. Act as a technical advisor for other engineers and support staff.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields).
Technical Skills:
Understanding of automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, robotics, and industrial communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and automation software tools.
Experience with industrial robotics, motion control system, and advanced sensor technologies.
Familiarity with MES/ERP systems and integrating automation solutions with digital platforms.
Competence in data analysis tools (Python, SQL) for monitoring and optimization.
Competence in Microsoft 365 tools such as (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse).
Familiarity with using RPA tools such as UIPath.
Experience:
Proven track record in factory automation, digital transformation, or related fields.
Successful leadership of mid-scale automation projects from design to deployment
Hands-on experience in fixing and optimizing automated systems.

Excellent communication and partnership skills to work effectively with multi-functional teams.
Proactive and able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
