About the Role:
- To discharge the duties and responsibilities per the WSH Act requirements and other subsidiary legislations and ensure implementation of safety procedures.
- Assist the Account Manager in managing and implementing on-site quality, environmental, health and safety (EHS) management systems.
- Conduct routine systematic safety audits/inspections;
- Maintain and manage ARIIA (inspection, incident, audit) and C&W safety-on-the-go platform;
- To investigate an accident or any disease which took place within the site and recommend corrective action to be taken to prevent recurrence;
- Document all safety violations or unsafe conditions/activities; ensure corrective measures are immediately implemented; follow through to ensure corrections have been made;
- Stay abreast of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position;
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan and organize health, wellness and safety program such as training, talks, forum and other EHS activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the persons employed on the site to establish a safe and healthy working environment;
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
About You:
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering / (Environmental/Health/Safety) Discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in an EHS role.
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
- Well-versed in HSE regulations and practices.
- Able to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
