- Planning of office space from mid to long term that goes beyond 10 yr roadmap, that will be in line with envisaged office concepts and projected growth and development plans. This includes looking into HTX's growth rate with the end point to accommodate all R&D facilities such as digital labs within one office premise. • Study on office transformation holistically and to address shortcomings of existing technology today; propose and explore ways to incorporate technology to allow greater collaboration across divisions, shaping HTX's desired culture and creation of digital laboratories for digital R&D, and play pens for demonstration of HTX capabilities. Continuous improve and exploring ways to automate security access systems, including tapping on facial recognition for office access, facilities booking, etc • Conducts focus groups discussion with Senior Management and the various Divisions to understand their requirements. • Closing the agreement to lease various office spaces for HTX. The end-to-end process includes approval from CORE, Tenders Board approval and eventual signing of the various tenancy agreements with external stakeholders. • Ensuring Workplace Safety for HTX Officers through implementation of relevant processes and framework. Puts in place an Enterprise Risk Management framework on the corporate related workplace safety for HTX offices, including those outside of Mediacorp as part of the Workplace Safety Committee. Establishes processes to ensure workplace safety is adhered to, including contractors and visitors to HTX's facilities. • Regularly reviews processes to ensure workplace safety is kept to, including conducting regular briefings to staff, appointing and training fire wardens and conducting exercises • Putting in place a process to conduct routine checks, such as inspection of fire extinguishers and working closely with Mediacorp facilities team to ensure HTX is updated with the latest processes to manage incidents in Mediacorp. • Be the driver for Knowledge Management in HTX, putting in place a Knowledge Management system to ensure organisational knowledge is retained and built upon. • Drives a culture of data and knowledge sharing within HTX such as implementing the digitalising of documents for setting up of eRegistry, records management system for storage of files and archives. • Oversee and improvise Facilities Management in HTX to a new level i.e. facilities are operating effectively, that access to HTX is authorised, explore and establish a system for staff to report defects, track data and improve processes, constant review of processes to streamline and automate. • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Minimum 8 to 10 yrs of relevant experience, preferably in Building & Facilities Management. • Experience managing a team and managing, working with various Home Team Family. • Comfortable with tender process, process review and experience or keen interest in automating systems. Applicants with experience in automating systems would be an added advantage. • Experience in public service workplace transformation is an added advantage. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
