- Contribute to the development of the organisation's AI strategy, considering emerging technologies and ecosystem trends. • Identify innovative ways to leverage the AI ecosystem to solve complex problems faced by the Home Teams. • Propose and lead initiatives enhancing AI capabilities via strategic collaborations with industry, academia, and government agencies for e.g. information sharing, co-developments, joint trials, and/or project implementations, that are aligned with the organisational strategic objectives. • Develop and execute an engagement strategy to build a thriving AI ecosystem, identifying and building a vibrant ecosystem of stakeholders, considering partner's technical capabilities, commitment, and availability of resources. • Evaluate technologies and vendor solutions, recommending optimal choices for Home Team use cases. • Facilitate cross-functional partnerships to advance AI R&D benefiting Home Teams. • Organize outreach events and creating engaging presentations on AI's potential • Develop and track KPIs for ecosystem engagement activities. • Prepare regular reports and updates on the engagement activities, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Postgraduate / Tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering, information systems or other quantitative/ analytical fields. • Minimum 5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, business development, partnerships, or related field, preferably in the context of data science, AI, or technology-driven initiatives. • Strong interest in technologies and knowledge of AI/Machine Learning, Data Science and Data Analytics, with the ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences. • Understanding and experience in at least one of the following skillsets: Tech Management, Strategic Partnerships, Event Planning, Project Facilitation & Management. • Strategic mindset with the ability to align engagement activities with the organizational goals and priorities. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability translate ideas into actionable plans. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation. • Having a good understanding of Home Team Departments' business and technical requirements will be an added advantage. • Applicants with more than 5 years' relevant experience will be considered for more senior positions. All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
