Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Account Executive contract staff to provide specialized support during our audit process. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance with specific experience in audit preparation and execution. The Senior Account Executive job description is a dynamic role with a multitude of responsibilities, including:
- Assist in all finance-related matters. This includes maintaining finance records, reconciliation, and managing the administration of finance processes;
- Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements;
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation;
- Connecting with the local finance manager to gather and organize financial documentation required for the group audit;
- Responsible for the reconciliation of the intercompany transactions and balances and coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities;
- Analyze financial data and trends to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies;
- Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR reconciliation, monthly balance sheet and income statement schedules, account reconciliation, etc.);
- Assisting the Group Senior Finance Manager in implementing the new changes in Financial Reporting Standards and the alignment of accounting practices;
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and any other job duties, which may be assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ACCA or CA Singapore certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience
- Proven experience in financial accounting or a similar role, preferably in a contract or project-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Netsuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Open-minded, eager to learn and able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Contract Duration: 6 months, with possible extension
