What you will be doing
- To develop and render excellent service to internal and external customers at all times
- To ensure that staff and customer comply with existing safety rules and requirement as mandated by WSH committee.
- To provide management with daily serialised billing, data for services rendered to customer and explanation for significant variance.
- Manage, motivate, train and discipline staff.
- To encourage new ideas for improvement and respect for one another.
- To identify and develop talented staff for career advancement within the department or in another operations.
- Proactively deploy staff to other sections to enhance the overall performance of the department.
- Work with Operations Manager to establish business plan and goals for the department.
- Prepare weekly scorecard data and present to the customer.
- Monitor daily order fulfilment status and deploy the manpower to meet the customer requirements.
- Monitor and improve the efficiency of operational processes.
- Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for various business functions, including IT and customer support.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance with operational policies.
- Supervise and train employees, providing guidance and support.
- Implement processes to reduce costs and improve operations.
- Analyse and report on department performance.
- Manage inventory and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
The successful candidate
- Nitec / Diploma in Logistics Supply Chain.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in managing a team.
- Experience in SAP/WMS operations system will be an advantage.
- Knowledge in MS Excel and Outlook.
- Shipping knowledge: Shipment booking via Fedex / DHL.
- Candidates with “Work At Height” license will be an advantage.
