Roles & Responsibilities for Speech & Drama Teacher (Full time):
· Plan, prepare and teach lessons in accordance with Julia Gabriel Centre methodology and Speech & Drama programme requirements.
· Provide high quality learning experiences in class for children / teenagers.
· Communicate with parents and provide constructive feedback in line with programme requirements.
· Attend in-house training sessions provided for curriculum related matters and professional development.
· Support curriculum work, research, talks, workshops as required during non-teaching hours.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
A recognised qualification in Speech & Drama, Theatre or
Communication Skills from Trinity College London or London
Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) preferred
Relevant diploma or degree from LASALLE, NAFA, NUS will be
considered.
Any other professional teaching qualifications in Drama,
Performance or Theatre will be considered
Minimum 1 year experience in teaching Speech and Drama to
preschool/ primary/ secondary school students.
Excellent command of spoken & written English.
Energetic, creative, passionate, good team player.
Has good communication and interpersonal skills
Enjoys working with children from ages 3 to 6 and/or 7 to 12 and/or
teenagers from ages 13 to 18
