A fast-growing market leader is looking for an experienced OD expert for their global product and engineering business units.

The Role

This isn't your average HR role. The Leadership Growth department is set up to solely focus on driving an uplift in leadership capability and foster the community across the organization to achieve exceptional business results and long term growth of the company.

In this role, you will work very closely with leaders across the organization, as the trusted advisor, coach and change facilitator. We are looking for a passionate and strategic thinking leadership management expert to join the team and be part of this exciting journey in this frontier industry.

On a daily basis, this role provides sound advice and coaching to managers on how to inspire, reward and develop their teams, navigate employee relations conversations, ensure accurate compensation and commission management, better the employee experience, and bring out the full potential of our people and culture.

This role is based in Hong Kong or Singapore.

What You’ll Do

- As a core member of the Leadership Growth team, you will be responsible for building a leadership community for the company, enabling organizational capability, and fostering culture, to support full management cycles for business leaders.

- Identify and analyze leadership gaps, strengthen the leadership pipeline in different functions and initiate leadership development plans, and conduct succession planning initiatives.

- Provide objective assessment and identify root causes of teams and organization issues, use a systematic approach to help improve team productivity and organization cohesiveness.

- Conduct leader and organization data analysis, provide valuable insight and solutions to the business in regards to our people & organization health index.

- Partner with senior business leaders to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives as the organizations continue to grow and scale globally. Topics may include performance management, organizational design, change management, compensation/commission management, cultural integration, etc.

- Be a champion for employee engagement, fostering a positive and productive work environment for our global team.

- Provide trusted guidance and coaching to leaders at all levels, ensuring effective talent management practices to drive high performing organizations.

- Lead HR projects related to team success, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.

What You’ll Need to Have

- 10+ years of experience working in Talent Management, Organizational Development, HR Business Partnering, Leadership Development, Consulting, preferably in the internet/hi-tech/financial services industry.

- Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced working environment, with open-mindedness to new information and challenges.

- Data-centric with the ability to analyze HR data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

- Experience working effectively with global, remote teams across timezones.

- To excel in the role, you not only think strategically but also have the ability to be hands on.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills; logical and structured in problem solving, with a big picture in mind.

- Passionate about building and shaping company culture, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration.

- Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required.
